AI/ML based Preventive and Reactive Emergency handling Toolset and Dataset for Mission Critical Services (AI-PREMSET-MCX)

AI-PREMSET-MCX aims to develop and implement advanced mechanisms and solutions aligned with the latest research and standard definitions for Mission Critical (MC) communications. By integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) mechanisms with the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) compliant Mission Critical Services (MCX), AI-PREMSET-MCX introduces and drives new opportunities for the optimisation of this kind of critical communications, where traditional proprietary voice-centric ones, are expected to move to a standardised and interoperable ecosystem, over new generations of radio broadband networks, which must be able to support additional demanding services like video in real-time or massive data transmission, assuring the Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE). Through AI/ML mechanisms and characterising environment conditions in emergency scenarios for Radio Access Network (RAN) and 5G Core (5GC) infrastructures, AI-PREMSET-MCX aims to develop mechanisms to assure statically and dynamically optimal configurations and deployments of the MCX platforms, improving the overall performance and guaranteeing the minimum allowed service quality and therefore the success of Public Protection and Disaster Relief (PPDR) operations.
