Point to multipoint THz connectivity in high throughput industrial scenarios

Provision of point-to-multi-point, high-throughput, low-latency multi-beam/multi-frequency connectivity to industrial manufacturing stations carrying out a specific manufacturing process. Stations require very high throughput connectivity in downlink and uplink directions in many cases due to very high-resolution cameras controlling high-precision processes. The stations also require low latency communications with low delay jitter to support synchronisation over the mobile networks for indoor moving machines. Even in the case of static stations during the process, periodic re-arrangement needs to be carried out for different processes.  Multi-beam very high throughput wireless connectivity between central nodes and remote ones deployed within the industrial stations can provide flexibility and process efficiency, supporting the connectivity needs and allowing for the dynamic rearrangement of stations, including the support for moving ones. High reliable THz communications bring the required throughput and latency to enable autonomous manufacturing where the stations can be re-arranged automatically with minimum user intervention.
