VINS-RTK Mapper - Topic: 23_AUTOMOTIVE_Digital twins’ generation methodology for road safety based on real time vehicle information

The real-time digital twin generation system uses monocular camera, inertial measurement unit and RTK-GNSS to obtain the pose of the vehicle (localisation) and meantime it uses 3D Lidar measurements to generate 3D point cloud map of the environment. The system can be mounted on the top of a car and communicate with 5G cloud server. The 3D mesh files are generated on the cloud server which can be used in a simulation environment to replicate the surroundings.
