The SBPATH-5G project integrates 5G technology with AR/VR solutions to enhance robotic welding processes, improving precision and real-time feedback in industrial applications. By using advanced data acquisition methods, including real object scanning and CAD model simulation, the system generates accurate welding paths and optimises parameters through remote cloud processing. The solution is designed to improve manufacturing efficiency and adaptability in complex industrial environments by leveraging high bandwidth and low-latency 5G communications.
