The prefabrication of carbon fibre composites often involves intensive manual activities, particularly in production areas with small batch sizes. Due to stringent safety requirements, the use of heavy-duty robots has traditionally been limited. CoRoCa targets to develop and test a solution within a 5G test environment on a lab shopfloor. This solution enables robotic applications in safety-critical environments, leveraging PLCs, 5G, and AI-driven methods.
