Smart Connected Factory of the Future

The use case will evaluate various project processing technologies' portability, usability, and security aspects. Static analysis algorithms will enable early detection of security vulnerabilities within eBPF code during its development phase. The observability framework for the WebAssembly-based serverless/FaaS workloads in Kubernetes will be validated to improve the attack detection and prevention capabilities within the serverless ecosystem. Integrating cross-platform and portable drivers for the fabric simplifies the deployment process across different hardware platforms. Stateless IoT data processing elements, such as data transformation and validation, will be well-suited for the FaaS paradigm and placed close to the devices. ELASTIC low-latency, real-time monitoring with embedded low-power and hardware-based modules will be used to detect any security issues. Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and remote attestation of trusted applications will enable the execution of data fabric components within attested TEEs, enhancing system security.
